Actor Michael Jai White was a New Haven, Connecticut based martial artist and TaeKwonDo black belt, as well as a budding actor. Mike had made a commercial for Burger King and was slated to do some work for Throma Films when I first met him. Mike decided to move to California and received a couple of good breaks that led to him starring in "The Mike Tyson Story" and the title role in "Spawn." Mike has since appeared in dozens of T.V. roles, including "New York P.D. Blue" and several major movie roles including, "Exit Wounds" with high ranking Aikido black belt Steven Seagal.
